National Conference
What is the national conference?NACURH, Inc. holds a national conference yearly usually during the month of May or June. The national conference serves as time for member schools to meet, exchange ideas, and compete against each other for national awards. The conference usually lasts between 3 and 5 days and usually has contained between 8 and 10 programming tracks as well many opportunities to socialize with other schools.
The national conference also serves as an opportunity for the NACURH National Board of Directors to hold a business meeting. Each affiliate of NACURH has two seats on the National Board (NBD) in the form of a Regional Director and Associate Director. In addition to the 8 Directors and Associate Directors, both national offices are represented. The NBD is led by an executive team comprised of a National Chair, a National Associate for Administration, and a National Associate for Finance. The NBD selects the next host of the national conference, national offices, and a majority of the national awards.
